作品「キルトとぞうきん」

「キルトとぞうきん」
　11月、ラッキョウの花が咲き始める季節に開かれるパッチワークキルトとオリジナルぞうきんのコンテスト。全国から集まった布たちが小春日和の松原で潮風にそよぐ。太陽の光の具合で、室内では味わうことのできないいろいろな表情を見ることができる。砂浜美術館流のキルトと松原の楽しみ方だ。オリジナリティあふれるぞうきんコンテストも人気。松原ではお茶会（野点）も開かれる。

Quilt
In November , the contest of patchiworks and original wiping cloths are held at the flowering season of shallots. Around warm pinewoods , the cloths that were gathered from all parts of the country tremble in the sea breeze. Due to the sunlight we can see the variety of faces of those clothes that we cannto see indoors.
This is the unique way which we enjoy quilts and pinewoods in seaside gallery. The original contest of wiping cloths is also popular. The tea ceremony is also held in pinewoods.

子どもたちもキルトを制作しています
潮風のキルト展の審査員をして下さっている小林恵さんが、子どもたちの創造力と地域意識を伸ばし、将来に役立つようにと「子どもたちに教えるキルト指導要綱」を作ってくださいました。
